We've been mixing some really beautiful colors in the studio lately. I love this shot with these colors in particular and all of the swirly paints. This is my friend Melissa Andersen's mixing palette. Very fun.
I liked these paintings that I saw hanging in a gallery on 25th street in Chelsea. The textures and buildup of the paint make it more emotional and expressive.
