Nelson Shanks at Berry-Hill Galleries

I made it down to the show last day it was up--yesterday with just enough time to see the work and get some shots of the paintings.  I especially liked this life sketch of Pavarotti.

I loved looking up closely at the way he painted hands and faces.  This hand below was to me really fantastic.

  1. Thanks so much for these examples. I've admired Nelson Shank's works for a long time, and have always wanted to see up close details of many of his paintings, as well as the variety of works, which appear here.It has added significantly to my own painting efforts. If you decide to post more of his works, I encourage you to do so.
